The health information service provides you
access to a comprehensive library of health information, available
to you over the phone or through our web site. The library puts
information on over 2,100 health-related topics at your fingertips.
Medical authorities regularly review the topics to make sure you
are receiving the most current information available.
When you have a specific health question you can always call the
FONEMED Registered Nurse. When you just need basic health information,
however, you have two options.
1) Simply go online and visit the web site at www.family health
topics.com. The text version of all topics is available there, along
with a directory to make it
easy to find what you need.
2 ) If you would prefer to access the topics over the telephone,
call the toll free number listed on your membership card, and provide
the Registered Nurse with
your name, group number, and membership number. The nurse can look
up a topic number for you and connect you to the audio recording
of that topic. The
nurse can then answer any follow-up questions that you have.
THE SERVICE IS EASY TO USE AND AVAILABLE TO YOU 7 DAYS A
WEEK, 24 HOURS A DAY, FREE OF CHARGE AS A MEMBER.
